Is your Frog coffee machine troubled? Of course, you won’t get your favorite morning drink. But you don’t have to give up. There are common troubleshooting issues that affect coffee machines. You can resolve these without engaging an expert. Others require expertise, depending on the intensity.

If your Frog coffee machine is not working, check if it has clogged filters or poor water pressure. It could also be leaks, broken power streams, or a damaged gadget. I have helpful tips for your coffee machine. So, let’s fix it by beginning with the simplest!

Power Interruption

Power failure can frustrate you, especially in the morning when you are in a hurry to work. It stops your coffee maker and other appliances in your home from running. There are several ways this can happen. It could be that your home or kitchen got a power disconnection on the main circuit board, or your area has no or low supply. Also, your appliance’s electrical connections could be faulty.

The first indicator of no power in your kitchen or house is when the lights go off. Also, the radio, television, and other machines will go mute. The way to solve this issue is to call the electricity provider and ascertain that there are no blackouts in your area.

Your house could have power; all appliances are working except your Frog coffee machine. That’s an appliance failure. Do the following;

  • Inspect the power cord for twists and breakages. If there are visible cuts, replace them.
  • Check if the plug is working and if the fuse is intact. A plug with lost pins or a broken fuse disconnects the power flow to the machine. So, replace the plug and fuse.
  • Call an electrician to inspect and resolve any internal electric wiring.

After resolving the electrical issues in your frog shaped coffee machine, it should work. If otherwise, examine the water reservoir. It could be experiencing a blockage. The reusable filters in your coffee machine often get clogged and cause the machine to stop working or produce optimal results. You must clean them to enhance performance. You will need a water and vinegar solution to clean coffee filters. Follow the below steps:

Damaged Frog Coffee Machine

Your machine could have broken down, hence the silence. It isn’t easy to diagnose the problem, so you will need expertise. Take your Frog coffee machine to the nearest dealer or call them for assistance. Depending on the warranty provisions, they will check the issue, resolve it, or exchange the unit for you.

Leakage

Leaks can flood your countertop or cause your robot frog coffee maker to stop working. They happen when there is a limescale buildup. This buildup is expected in gadgets and requires a descale every month or two. Run the unit with vinegar+water solution to descale your machine. Remember to rinse off the residues with clean water.

If you have already descaled it, but the machine keeps leaking and won’t work properly, check the water reservoir and ensure that you have inserted it correctly. Also, close the lid tightly and examine all the seals. You can replace the seal and lid if need be.

Another feature to assess is the water inlet valve, which could be dirty or clogged. Clean it and replace it if it is damaged.

Parting Shot

Troubleshooting your Frog coffee machine should never be an arduous task. The above tips as to why it is not working can help you to diagnose and fix several issues. Check for a power supply, and inspect your appliance’s power cord, plug, and electrical wiring.

Other features to examine include the water reservoir, pipes, and filters. De-scale your apparatus at least once a month to prevent buildup and underperformance. When grinding, ensure that you set your machine to coarse. Once in a while, reset your coffee maker to clear any hitches. With the above knowledge, you can operate your coffee frog machine with confidence.
